Partnerships for Economic Opportunities through Technology in the Americas
POETA is a regional initiative that promotes digital, technical and life skills to promote economic and educational opportunities among vulnerable communities in the Americas. POETA promotes the socioeconomic inclusion of people through a multidisciplinary approach supported by technology that seeks to strengthen the profile of participants to facilitate their access to opportunities such as securing a job or an internship, starting or strengthening an entrepreneurship, or starting or continuing formal education.

Offerings
- Access to e-learning platforms with content in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
- Access to content, training, and webinars on various topics, including digital literacy, computer science, finance, digital marketing, innovation, prevention of violence against women and girls, disability inclusion, communications, and self-esteem
- Mentoring for job placement and entrepreneurship strengthening
- Access to an online monitoring and evaluation system for the purpose of managing quantitative and qualitative data
- Access to a network of more than 55 local partners in 18 countries in the Americas
- Access to local events to promote the services provided by local partners, as well as the results of their initiatives
