Empowering Communities: Strategic Partnerships Drive Sustainability Initiatives in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez
We celebrate the successful graduation of the second cohort of the Skills for Sustainability project in El Paso, led by The Trust for the Americas in collaboration with NADBank, Microsoft, and the STTE Foundation. This binational program emerges in response to critical challenges facing the water sector in the U.S.-Mexico border region, including scarcity and the imminent retirement of one-third of the sector's workforce in the next decade. With a focus on providing training in digital, life, and technical skills, Skills for Sustainability aims to empower individuals to address these challenges and promote sustainable development in the region, while fostering strategic partnerships for sustainable outcomes.
