Andrea supports the growth and project implementation of the DIA-Democratizing Innovation in the Americas Program. Throughout four years of experience, Andrea has implemented and evaluated development projects and has acquired practical knowledge about the Inter-American Human Rights System.
From July 2019 to January 2021, she worked as the Operations Officer for the VIVE Project, implemented by The Trust for the Americas to economically empower women in Mexico. In 2018, she undertook an independent evaluation for the VIVE Project and worked as an intern at the Communication and Press Department of the Interamerican Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in Washington D.C. Additionally, for over a year, she led a community kitchen for kids living in vulnerable conditions in Morelos, Mexico.
Andrea holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Tecnologico de Monterrey in Puebla, Mexico. She speaks Spanish and English.
